Ah, the beautiful and majestic Queenstown, New Zealand!
After spending two months working and traveling in Sydney, Australia, My friend and I took the chance to spend a week in New Zealand, our first stop being Queenstown, which is located on the South Island and is fairly small but is a very lively little town surrounded by the breathtaking mountain range, The Remarkables. Although this town may be tiny, it is jam packed with a million and one different activities you can do from skydiving, bungee jumping, riding the largest swing in the world, white water rafting, ice bars, and one of the best burger joints you definitely won't want to miss! From Queenstown, NZ you can also take a day trip to the beautiful Milford Sound which is famous for its rainforests, waterfalls and abundance of wildlife.
While in Queenstown, my friend and I tried to do just about everything we possibly could. We skydived from 12,000 ft in the air, bungee jumped off of the Kawarau Bridge where bungee jumping was invented, rode in a gondola to the top of a mountainside to get the best view of Queenstown, stuffed our faces at the Stratosfare which is a luxury buffet at the top of a mountain, ate one of the most delicious burgers we've ever eaten at Fergburger and partied in a ice bar! I could go on to explain each one of these in intricate detail but I'll save you guys the time and just post some of the amazing pictures I have to commemorate all the fun and excitement we had in Queenstown, New Zealand. Enjoy!
